Rajeev Dixit said that chemical shampoos damage the hair roots. Instead, he advised using natural cleansers like Reetha (Soapnut), Amla (Indian Gooseberry), and Shikakai.

How to make?

  • Take 10 reetha, 10 shikakai, and 5 amla pieces.
  • Soak overnight in water.
  • Boil in the morning for 15 minutes.
  • Cool, mash, and strain the liquid.
  • Use as a natural shampoo 2-3 times a week.

2. Use Cold-Pressed Coconut or Mustard Oil

Rajeev Dixit always emphasized the use of Kacchi Ghani Mustard Oil or Cold-pressed Coconut Oil for hair nourishment. These oils deeply penetrate the scalp and strengthen the roots.

4. Eat According to Ayurveda

Your hair reflects your diet. Rajeev Dixit suggested that Satvik Bhojan (pure vegetarian Indian food) is best for hair health.

  • Include green leafy vegetables, sprouts, nuts, and seasonal fruits.
  • Avoid processed foods, white sugar, and maida.
  • Use desi ghee in food for better absorption of vitamins.
  • Eat before sunset for proper digestion.

5. Avoid Chemical-Based Hair Products

According to Rajeev Dixit, most commercial hair products contain harmful chemicals like SLS, parabens, and alcohol that damage the scalp. He advised switching to Ayurvedic powders and oils only.

6. Yoga and Pranayama

Stress is a major reason for hair loss. Rajeev Dixit promoted Yoga and Pranayama as a natural way to reduce stress and improve oxygen supply to the scalp.

  • Anulom Vilom (Alternate nostril breathing)
  • Kapalbhati (Cleansing breath)

7. Use Onion Juice for Hair Growth

One of Rajeev Dixit’s suggested remedies was using onion juice to stimulate hair growth.

How to use:

  • Grate 1 onion and extract juice.
  • Apply to scalp using cotton.
  • Leave for 30 minutes, then rinse with shikakai cleanser.
